Amaze - Columbus’ Premier Escape Room
Recently, a few of my friends and I experienced one of Columbus’ most popular escape rooms at Amaze, located in Italian Village (in between Cosecha Cocina and LIT Life + Yoga).
We were looking for a challenge, so we selected the “Gallery Swipe” which has a secret surprise in one of the rooms if you make it to the end. Definitely one of the coolest features I’ve seen in an escape room. Thankfully, my girlfriends and I were able to escape with 20 minutes to spare, but full disclosure we received a few clues along the way. It was fun working together as a team and piecing the clues together.
Each room provides 60-minutes (not applicable to all rooms) to escape or solve the mystery and will require the collective brain power of the entire team. Throughout the entire experience, you’re supported by amazing staff (yes, pun intended) that can answer “yes” or “no” to questions as well as provide three clues. We highly suggest that you use your clues wisely.
As winter soon approaches, think about organizing your next meet-up, family gathering, first date, or girls night out at Amaze. Recently, Amaze launched an outdoor scavenger hunt experience, The Inheritance, where clues will take you all throughout Italian Village and Short North. They’ve combined challenging puzzles with high-tech props with art, architecture, and hot spots in Columbus. It requires about 2.5 hours to complete, and there’s a fun surprise at the end of this one as well.
