I hope you're having a great weekend so far! I'm actually recovering from an Ugly Christmas Sweater party that my boyfriend and I hosted last night, so forgive me if this post is all over the place. So this past week, I got the exciting opportunity to meet Jackie Trucco, Owner and Founder of Ivy Bridal Studio. Honestly, when I first walked into Ivy Bridal, I was greeted by a warm vanilla smell and gorgeous wedding dresses galore. I felt like a Disney princess and even though I'm not engaged (I've been in a relationship going on 6 years, but we won't go into that) I loved the feeling I got just by the moment I stepped through the door.
From the dark wood floors, to the beautiful aesthetics found all around the room, I truly appreciated the detail of the studio. All the dresses bordered the room and the center piece just gave the entire studio a beautiful focal point. This is the kind of place, you want to experience that once in a lifetime moment, to find that one dress, to say those two words: "I do!" I'm not a bride, but the whole aura of this studio was beautiful. The wedding dresses decorated the room so eloquently. I could go on, and on, but you should experience this moment for yourself.
"Shopping for a wedding dress can be a stressful experience for a bride and we want to help in anyway we can to help relieve some of that stress." - Jackie. When you make an appointment with Jackie you're buying an experience; not just a dress. All appointments are free and the wedding dresses average from $1,800-$2,900. The most expensive dress costs up to $5,000.
Ivy Bridal Studio carries six designers and all dresses are local to Ohio (except one):

Columbus Living: So I have to ask, whenever you get new dresses do you try them on?
Jackie: Of course! I would pick a completely different wedding dress if I had to do my wedding all over again.
Columbus Living: So what were you doing before this?
Jackie: I was a Project Manager at a construction company. I opened up this studio about a year and 10 months ago and I thought to myself if I'm ever going to open up my own business, there's no better time than now.
So I bet you're wondering Columbus, why the name Ivy Bridal Studio? Why wouldn't she name her business, Jackie Bridal Studio? "It actually took me a long time to come up with a name, but I came up with the name Ivy because it takes two ivies to grow, similar to a relationship. It takes two people to grow." - Jackie
How beautiful, don't you love it, Columbus? I love it and for me, it's all about the experience and the meaning behind the brand. I enjoyed the conversation that I shared with Jackie and hopefully the next time I'm writing a post about wedding dresses, you'll see me in one.
