Are you ready to feed your soul? If your answer is yes, you better come hungry. Hungry for food, music, art and so much more. The Copious restaurant in the Brewery District is the perfect place to satisfy your appetite, grab happy hour with friends, walk around in the art gallery and indulge in comfort food. The atmosphere is an experience you feel the moment you walk in the door. The bar serves local beer (i.e. Seventh Son, North High and Zauber) and delicious artisan cocktails. If you're feeling local, I highly recommend the Columbus Cosmo (made with local vodka, crème de violette and white cranberry juice); as soon as I heard Columbus, I was sold.
Copious feels like family and you almost forget your dining out. The food is memorable and your mouth will water as each plate passes by your table before your dish decides to arrive. Each bite of my buttermilk pan-fried chicken just melted in my mouth and I hate to say it, but my grandma has nothing on Chef Curtis. Oh, and did I mention there were duck fat french fries? Can I get everything fried in duck fat? I was extremely impressed with the service, quality of food and the overall atmosphere.
Oh, did you think the night was over after dinner? Guess again. Now it's time to relax and sing along to good music. Notes at Copious is the underground venue space where you can listen to local talent found right here in Columbus. If you're interested in stopping by, check out the line-up for February by clicking here. It's always a full house and thanks to the Copious Owners, Terry and Michael, my friends and I were invited to attend a musical performance by the Hoo Doo Soul Band. We had a great time and can't wait to see them again.
Copious provides the perfect date night for couples in Columbus especially if you're looking for a 3-in-1 package (dinner, an art gallery and music) or if you just need a night out with friends. Find comfort at Copious and never be afraid to ask for more because you deserve a Copious amount. The service aims to please and you will not be disappointed. They offer an additional venue space if you're ever looking to host an event (i.e. wedding reception, fundraiser, or special event) and you can book the space by calling in for more details. Again, I'd like to thank the wonderful staff at Copious for an amazing night and I can't wait to visit soon.
