CycleBar, the premium indoor cycling studio offering a high-energy workout in a concert-like atmosphere, will open at 661 Worthington Rd., in the Westar Retail Center this spring. Two other local franchisees have opened studios at Easton and in Powell. “I have always loved indoor cycling and became intrigued by the CycleBar concept when a friend opened the first studio in Cincinnati last year,” said Danielle King, co-owner of CycleBar Polaris. “Once I took a CycleBar class and experienced the studio, amenities and the energetic workout, I knew I had to be part of the Cyclebar brand.” The Polaris location will have 50 bikes in the CycleTheatre which is equipped with state-of-the-art enhanced lighting, sound and video systems plus built-in CycleStats which monitors performance. CycleBar provides premier amenities such as cycling shoes, water bottles, hydration station, showers, and fresh towels. Riders are able to track their performance metrics via CycleStats—which are emailed to them immediately following class. CycleGiving, a unique program offered by all CycleBar studios, helps nonprofits in the area raise money by hosting private classes at CycleBar. “We are excited to support local schools, charities and peer-to-peer fundraisers such as Pelotonia, through our CycleGiving program.” The May grand opening will offer ten days of free private group rides and CycleBar Blast (10 days of free rides open to the public).
