Have you recently got engaged and are looking for creative ways to ask your friends to be your bridesmaids? There are plenty of ways to ask, but of course you're no ordinary bride. You're the type of bride to go above and beyond for your friends and making them feel special is important to you. As soon as I got engaged I went on a Pinterest frenzy (who am I kidding, I was years ahead of the game). I've been pinning my wedding for years and I'm not ashamed at all. I searched through so many ways as to how I could pop the question to my six future bridesmaids. The package you see is what I came up with, what do you think?
First, I had to decide what kind of packaging I wanted for my bridesmaids boxes. I immediately went to Etsy and six customized boxes easily costs $70.00 which was "no bueno" for my budget. So I traveled to Target, Michael's, World Market, and JoAnn Fabrics looking for the best deal I could find. Thankfully, I found these beautiful baskets at JoAnn Fabrics for $4.80/per basket. JoAnn's always has 60% OFF deals in the weekend newspapers and their email newsletters. If you're like me, just ask your savvy mother to text you the coupon.
I'm very supportive of small businesses so I ordered my "Will you be my bridesmaids and Maid of Honor?" gold imprinted cards through Etsy and my JRJ Nail Polish through Rachel. The best part is that JRJ Nail Polish is locally-owned, vegan and cruelty-free. Each of my bridesmaids were given the "I Do" nail polish to fit the fun wedding theme. If you're looking to customize the name of your nail polish just work with the Owner, Rachel ahead of time. She's awesome and will help you every step of the way.
Next summer, I will have six beautiful bridesmaids and one junior bridesmaid by my side for the big day. Each bridesmaid has a special place in my heart and I am so lucky to have such powerful, intelligent and ambitious women by my side. Thank you for all your support and I love each of you so much.
